The bottom slide is a standard 3” dovetail bar (Losmandy compatible) #10M2130; the clamping plates are two 3” Losmandy compatible (#10M2085). All the components are CNC machined, black anodized aluminum. There are 3 different possible distances between the two clamps: approx. 210, 245 and 281mm (8.3”, 9.6”, 11”). Note: – The GM1000 HPS Mount needs the #10M1105 Adapter in order to mantain the corret encoder’s position references – All the other mounts require a #10M2085 or #10M2185 3″ Losmandy clamping plate.

These cases are made of a special resin compound which offers a combination of high elasticity, increased shock absorption, reduced transport weight, and resistance against temperature extremes. They also ensure a perfect barrier against dust, humidity, sand, etc. The Internal padding is cut to accommodate the instruments. Three cases, with a trolley configuration, contain the GM2000 Ultraport mount; the other one contains the counterweights and shaft, the electronic parts (control box + hand controls and cables), and other small accessories.

This option allows the Mount to operate until -30°C (-22° F) and features the following special modifications: - Special low-temperature lubricants certified until -60°C or lower - Special copper wiring, silicone sheathed - Electronic components certified for temperatures down to -40°C - Endurance tested at low temperatures in our laboratory All 10Micron mounts feature special systems in their mechanics in order to compensate thermal variations. ColdTemp upgrade

The ColdTemp version of the GM2000HPS II Combi is available for installations in extreme cold environments. This upgrade modifies cables, lubricants, and internal components during factory assembly and cannot be added after purchase. If your observatory site regularly experiences sustained sub-zero temperatures, discuss the ColdTemp option with Deep Space Products before ordering.
