Ash-Dome Standard Sizes

Model R (compact): 8' | 10'6" | 12'6" | 14'6" | 16'6" diameter

Model M (heavy-duty): 18'6" | 20'6" | 22'6" | 24'6" | 26'6" | 28'6" | 30'6" diameter

Custom configurations and larger sizes are available by consultation with Ash-Dome.

Construction and Materials

All Ash-Domes are fabricated from Galvalume® steel — a steel core coated with a zinc-aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance. The hemispherical shell is formed from interlocking segments reinforced with internal ribs, creating an exceptionally strong structure that withstands high winds, snow loads, and thermal cycling. Built in the USA since the 1960s.

Motor and Control Options

Model R standard motors: 110/120V, 60 cycle, single phase
Model R optional motors: 220/230V, 50/60 cycle, single phase

Model M standard motors: 220/230V, 50/60 cycle, single phase

Control options: Manual rotary switch (standard), automated system (ASCOM-compatible with third-party controllers), contactor bars for continuous power to rotating dome section.

Shipping and Delivery

Model R domes ship on a single large pallet containing all dome segments, hardware, motors, and assembly materials. Model M domes ship secured directly to truck or container due to component size and weight.
