The GM3000 mandatory shipping KIT (also suitable for the AZ3000 HPS) is composed of the GM3000 100x80x60cm shipping wooden pallet-box (#10M3100)and the pier adapter (#10M3090). Both are necessary items when the mount will be shipped. Shipping charges will be calculated individually for each destination and will be billed separately. The included pier adapter (#10M3090) will be needed later when mounting the GM 3000 onto a pier. This strong plate of solid steel is mandatory not only to secure the mount on the pallet during transport but also later to translate the full loading capacity of the Mount onto the pier.

This option allows the Mount to operate until -30°C (-22° F) and features the following special modifications: - Special low-temperature lubricants certified until -60°C or lower - Special copper wiring, silicone sheathed - Electronic components certified for temperatures down to -40°C - Endurance tested at low temperatures in our laboratory All 10Micron mounts feature special systems in their mechanics in order to compensate thermal variations. Deep Space Products sells 10Micron mounts to customers in North and South America only. We cannot process orders for international destinations outside these regions. If you are located outside North or South America, please contact 10Micron directly for regional dealer information. International shipping from DSP must be quoted separately — contact us before placing your order.

Mandatory shipping kit

10Micron requires a wooden pallet-box and steel pier adapter flange for all GM3000HPS shipments due to the mount's size and weight. The mandatory shipping kit (item #10M-3199, $626) is a required selection at checkout. The pier adapter included in this kit is not only for safe transport — you will need it for pier installation. ColdTemp option

The ColdTemp upgrade (item #10M-3000F, $2,086) extends the GM3000HPS operating range to –22°F (–30°C), with greases certified to –60°C and electronics rated for storage down to –40°C. This option is integrated during factory assembly and cannot be retrofitted after delivery. It must be specified at time of order. Most North American installations do not require it — contact Deep Space Products if you're unsure whether your site warrants the upgrade.

DSP Remote hosting

The GM3000HPS is one of the most commonly installed mounts at DSP Remote, Deep Space Products' Bortle 1 hosting facility in southwest New Mexico. Customers who purchase a new GM3000HPS from DSP and ship it directly to DSP Remote for installation receive a 5% discount on the mount purchase. Ask about this offer when placing your order.
