The Half Pillar is an important accessory that can offer more clearance between the tripod and the optics in order to avoid the risk of collision, especially with long optical tubes. The usable height of this special half pillar is 130mm (5in.) It is designed to offer great rigidity but with a reasonable weight and is CNC milled from a solid block of aluminum with an anodized black matte finish.

Custom made by Geoptik for 10Micron for the GM1000 and BM100L mounts, this is a fine wooden tripod, with a finely CNC machined and anodized aluminum base. The legs are made of “first choice” beech wood”, treated for outdoor use. This material guarantee excellent stability and vibration damping, also in case of heavy loads. The height of the tripod can range from 950 mm to 1100 mm (37.4” to 43.3 “) through extendable anodized aluminum extensions. The extension’s tips are reversible, offering the possibility of a round rubber or a sharp metal tip. The triangle-shaped accessory tray, made in laminated beech, offers several holes to accommodate 31.8 and 50.8mm eyepieces. 10Micron upholstered Cordura transport-bag. The tripod weighs 12 kg (26.4 lbs.).

This adapter is required in order to accommodate the Lodual plate (#10M2105) on the 1000HPS mounts. The #10M2085 (Losmandy dovetail clamping plate 3″) is included in the kit. This kit ensures the correct orientation of the optical tubes in order to comply with the HPS fixed home position requirements.

This special double plate is designed to allow a parallel mounting of two optical tubes on the 10Micron mounts. The bottom slide is a standard 3” dovetail bar (Losmandy compatible) #10M2130; the clamping plates are two 3” Losmandy compatible (#10M2085). All the components are CNC machined, black anodized aluminum. There are 3 different possible distances between the two clamps: approx. 210, 245 and 281mm (8.3”, 9.6”, 11”). Note: – The GM1000 HPS Mount needs the #10M1105 Adapter in order to mantain the corret encoder’s position references – All the other mounts require a #10M2085 or #10M2185 3″ Losmandy clamping plate.
