10Micron Industrial Power Supply 48V 10A / IP65 — Weatherproof Power for the AZ2500 DDS

The 10Micron® Industrial Power Supply 48V 10A / IP65 (10M2560) delivers regulated 48V DC at up to 10A (480W). That is the power the 10Micron AZ2500 DDS direct-drive mount needs to run its high-torque motors and absolute encoder electronics. Clean, stable voltage protects the mount's control electronics and supports consistent servo performance during high-speed slews.

The supply is housed in a rugged IP65-rated metal enclosure that is dust-tight and protected against water jets. It can be installed outdoors or in an unheated observatory without a separate protective enclosure. Universal 110–240V AC input lets the same supply work at U.S. sites, international installations, and remote field stations.

For installations where the supply will sit inside an existing electronics cabinet, 10Micron also offers an IP20 version (10M-5060). That version requires an adequate enclosure. Deep Space Products can help you choose the right supply for your site.

10Micron Balancing Kit for AZ2500 — Single-Telescope Configuration for the AZ2500 DDS

The 10Micron® Balancing Kit for AZ2500 (10M2591) converts the AZ2500 DDS direct-drive gimbal from its standard dual-telescope layout to a single-telescope platform. The AZ2500 is designed to carry two instruments that balance each other across the altitude axis. When your program needs only one, this kit replaces the second instrument with an adapter and counterweight shaft. That keeps the mount balanced and mechanically stable.

Good balance matters on a direct-drive mount. It keeps the load on the motors and bearings symmetric, and it lets the AZ2500's Auto-Tuning function and unbalance protection work as intended at high slew speeds.

Ordering note: The kit is supplied in versions matched to your payload. Please specify the weight of the instrument you need to balance when you order. Deep Space Products will confirm the correct version with 10Micron before your kit ships.
