The 10Micron AZ1000HPS EP (Enhanced Performance) is the altazimuth counterpart of the GM1000HPS EP — sharing the same mechanical platform, 30 kg (66 lb) payload capacity, and sub-arcsecond HPS tracking precision in a portable 19.5 kg (43 lb) body. Designed for satellite tracking, photometric and astrometric measurements, seeing monitoring, and scientific observing programs where an altazimuth configuration is preferred or required, the AZ1000HPS EP is among the most capable portable alt-azimuth mounts available.

Note: Counterweights are not included in the standard package and must be ordered separately. Most GM1000 HPS EP accessories are directly compatible with the AZ1000HPS EP.
Silver version
The AZ1000HPS EP Silver (SKU 10M-1030AZS) is identical in all specifications and includes the same package contents. The silver anodization finish is particularly suitable for solar observing due to its reduced heat absorption. Available at the same price as the standard version — special order, check for availability.
Compatibility and connectivity
Controlled via the 10Micron ASCOM driver (Windows) or Meade LX200-compatible protocol. Compatible with N.I.N.A., Voyager, TheSkyX, Cartes du Ciel, Stellarium, and other major astronomy software platforms. The web interface is accessible from any browser and operating system without additional software installation.
Ordering and shipping notes
Deep Space Products cannot sell 10Micron products to customers outside North and South America. Shipping cost is calculated when the mount is ready and must be confirmed prior to shipment. Contact DSP before placing your order if you have questions about availability, tripod options, or field de-rotator compatibility. HyperTune® services are available for other equatorial mounts in your collection — ask DSP if your existing mount qualifies.
